Literally it is a bed that can be rolled up and would include a ground sheet and cover to protect against hard ground and light rain. Bed Rolls are popular with Campers, Hunters and Off-roaders. Add all your bedding into it and then roll up, when you get there, unroll and sleep. It’s a little on the large side to have on a motorcycle and a little to small to have two people in it at the same time.
